New Recipe: Crockpot Applesauce

After apple picking this weekend we wanted to do something with the more than 10 pounds of apples we picked. Since Ethan is just starting to eat food we decided to make some applesauce for him and some for us too. I found this super easy recipe off of Pinterest to make crockpot applesauce. I will say having an apple peeler corer slicer makes it a lot easier too! We made a bunch for Ethan that didn't have anything in it and I have to say it was pretty delicious on its own. The rest we divided in half and did one half with a little white sugar and the other half with brown sugar and cinnamon. Yummy!

Ingredients
10 - 15 large apples (any variety)
3/4 cup water or apple cider
white sugar or brown sugar to taste
cinnamon to taste

Directions
1. Place peeled, sliced apples into crockpot.
2. Add water to coat apples
3. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours
4. Blend with a food processor
5. Add desired amounts of sugar and or cinnamon
6. Enjoy!
