New Recipe: Cheddar Pretzel Crusted Chicken


I saw this recipe on Pinterest and knew I had to try it. I've made cheddar cracker chicken before but I thought the pretzels would add another texture and flavor. I used Annie's cheddar snack mix because it's our favorite but you could use any type of cheddar cracker and pretzel. The chicken was so good, it was really moist and had great flavor. It was super quick and easy to make too. It will definitely be on our regular menu.

Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
1 cup Annie's cheddar snack mix, crushed
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. Spray baking pan with nonstick spray
3. Crush snack mix and put in bowl
4. Melt butter and put in bowl
5. Pound chicken breasts to quarter inch thin, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder on each side
6. Dip chicken breasts in butter, then press into snack mix crumbs on both sides and place on baking sheet
7. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping over after 15 minutes
8. Enjoy!
