Shedd Aquarium

We took Ethan to the Shedd Aquarium this past weekend and it was so much fun. We thought it would be the best option for his age of all of the museums to visit in Chicago. We were right, he absolutely loved it and we got a family membership so we will definitely be going back soon! Ethan just loved running from tank to tank to see what was inside. Every tank we looked in he would say "Wow, wow, wow!"

After looking at all of the tanks upstairs we headed down to the Oceanarium where all of the whales, dolphins and penguins are. The beluga whales were putting on a show for us. They were swimming right next to the glass by us, Ethan just loved it!

After we saw the belugas we headed to the penguins. They had a fun play area that Ethan loved exploring with slides, a cave and even a submarine!

After exploring downstairs we headed to upstairs to their aquatic show, One World. Ethan only made it through half of it before getting antsy. Those toddler legs like to run, not sit!

Our last stop of the day was the jellies exhibit which is a limited time exhibit that is coming to an end. It was really cool and Ethan loved looking at all of the jellies.

We had a great time at the aquarium and it was so fun to just see the wonder on Ethan's little face as he looked at everything. We can't wait to go back!
