25 Days of Christmas: Day 9 - Ethan and Sofia's Wish Lists

Ethan and Sofia have their wish lists all ready! Last year we decided that we wanted to pull back on buying too many gifts and it worked out really well. We are doing the same thing this year. We are only picking things we know Ethan and Sofia will really love and play with. We are only buying them a handful of things since they receive a lot from our extended family. Here are the things that Santa, our families and we might be gifting to Ethan and Sofia this year. They are definitely not getting all of this, these were just the ideas!

Ethan

Ethan is asking Santa for the Miles from Tomorrowland ship and the Butch dinosaur toy from The Good Dinosaur movie. The Miles ship must be popular this year because my niece and my nephew asked for it too! As you can see, this year Ethan is really into dinosaurs, Legos, things that go, learning, art, games and dressing up in costumes. We bought Ethan a couple Lego sets, the matching game and the Octonauts car.

Sofia

Sofia is still young and doesn't have a lot of defined interests yet but there are some things she loves. She loves her baby doll, animals, Minnie Mouse, books and music. She is asking Santa for a new baby doll and I think Santa is bringing her an American Girl bitty baby doll and stroller thanks to a great Zulily sale this past August, HA! :)  I know she is getting that little oven which is another hot toy this year. It sings and works on ABC's and numbers. We bought her the little piano that I know she is going to love and the panda toy. She loves books so much, so she had quite a few books on her list along with these adorable matching dolls that have finger puppets in the skirt, so cute!

I'm looking forward to seeing which of these things the kiddos end up getting and I can't wait to see their faces when they open them!

  1. Just a friendly warning from one Mom to another... the bee game on Ethan's list is evil. Oh, it's a fun game, but those little bees escape the box no matter how diligent you are about putting it away properly. When stepped on, you will utter naughty words under your breath and consider getting a Lego carpet...because that would be softer in comparison. :) It is a cute game though and my kids enjoyed it when we owned it.

    1. Thank you for this! No one bought it for him yet and maybe I'll keep it that way! :)
